LABORATORY TESTS

  • Standard laboratory profile (CBC, sedimentation, glucose, HbA1c, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, TG, bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT, urea, creatinine) + complete urinalysis test (physical and chemical examination)

ADDITIONAL LABORATORY TESTS

  • CRP, ALP, urates, K, Na, Ca, Fe, UIBC, TIBC, AMY, total proteins, troponin
  • Thyroid hormones: TSH, fT3, fT4
  • Tumor markers: PSA (tumor marker for prostate cancer), CEA & CA 19-9 (tumor markers for gastrointestinal malignancies)

ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTICS

  • Abdominal ultrasound
  • Prostate ultrasound
  • Thyroid ultrasound

ADDITIONAL DIAGNOSTICS

  • Cardiac stress test (ergometry) or cardiac ultrasound (echocardiogram) (*depending on the choice of a specialist of internal medicine/cardiologist)
  • Densitometry (over 50 years)

SPECIALIST EXAMINATIONS

  • Examination by a specialist of internal medicine: blood pressure measuring, an electrocardiogram (ECG), clinical assessment of the heart, lungs, abdomen and extremities with final recommendations for further steps of treatment or prevention
  • Examination by an ophthalmology specialist: visus with correction, examination of the anterior segment with a biomicroscope, measurement of eye pressure and fundus for a narrow pupil

WITH A SURCHARGE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO ADDITIONALLY MAKE:

  • Color Doppler Flow Imaging (CDFI) of the carotid and vertebral arteries
  • Physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist examination: general screening; assessment of locomotor status which entails the lumbosacral spine, pelvis with hips and knees and assessment of the type and intensity of physical therapy, if indicated
