The most common diseases and conditions treated at the Center for neurology are: headaches, dizziness, pain in the cervical and lumbosacral spine, muscle pain, loss of consciousness, epilepsy, muscle weakness, movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, tremors, dystonia, restless legs syndrome etc.), memory disorders, conditions after a stroke, vision disorders (as recommended by an ophthalmologist), compressive neuropathies (carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome), polyneuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, meralgia paresthetica, brain and spinal cord tumors and other conditions.
Diagnostics and treatment
Neurological services offered by our Center for neurology include: detailed neurological examination, neurological diagnostics and opinion on further treatment. We perform neurological diagnostics: EMNG - electromyography with measurement of peripheral nerve conduction velocity, and EEG (including EEG after a sleepless night). Center for neurology is also included in all current scientific activities carried out within the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.
