Fiberendoscopic examination of the nose, pharynx, and vocal cords
Fiberoendoscopic examination of the nasal cavities, sinuses, pharynx, and vocal cords allows quick and effective detection of the causes of many diseases. It is performed with a modern fiber-optic camera, lasts a few minutes, and is painless, but requires the cooperation of patients. Examination directly and accurately diagnoses nose and paranasal sinuses diseases, septal deformities, the presence of an enlarged third tonsil (adenoids) in children, and various morphological changes in the vocal cords that lead to hoarseness.
