Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy is a technique used to remove varicose veins located just beneath the skin.

Under local anesthesia, the enlarged vein is removed through very small skin incisions using special instruments. Sutures are usually not required. It is most often used as an additional procedure alongside laser ablation or traditional surgical treatment.
