Therapy programs for obesity treatment

Specially designed therapeutic programs for the treatment of obesity lasting 3 or 6 months, which include specialist examinations and targeted laboratory and diagnostic tests with integrated three- or six-month therapy and controls with the support of a multidisciplinary team of experts throughout the entire treatment process.

SILVER therapy package for obesity treatment (3M)

A 3-month (3M) therapy program for obesity treatment that includes specialist examinations and targeted laboratory and diagnostic tests with integrated three-month therapy and controls supported by a multidisciplinary team of experts.

LABORATORY DIAGNOSTICS

*At first visit (0M) and after three months (3M)
  • Hematology: CBC (complete blood count) and ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate)
  • Lipid profile: cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglycerides
  • Inflammation marker: hs-CRP (High sensitivity C-reactive protein)
  • Renal function markers: urea, creatinine + eGFR, urates
  • Liver tests and enzymes: bilirubin, AST, ALT, GGT
  • Blood sugar level: GUK, HbA1c
  • Hormones: TSH, fT4, insulin, insulin resistance (HOMA 2-IR)
  • Electrolytes: Ca, Mg, K, Na, Cl
  • Vitamins: 25-OH vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid
  • Minerals: zinc, copper

DIAGNOSTIC TESTS

  • Abdominal ultrasound: Checking the appearance, size and structure of abdominal organs and diagnosing diseases of abdominal organs (liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, urinary bladder); analysis of large abdominal blood vessels (including the abdominal aorta), the presence of enlarged lymph nodes or free fluid in the abdomen
  • FibroScan® - Liver Screening: The gold standard among non-invasive, elastographic methods for determining the hardness and elasticity of the liver, which assesses the degree of liver damage and measures the fat content in the liver parenchyma (degree of steatosis). In this way, doctors gain a detailed and clear insight into the condition and health of the liver, which is a prerequisite for adequate therapy determination and a crucial factor in timely and quality treatment of liver diseases.

SPECIALIST EXAMINATIONS

*First examination (0M) and follow-up examinations after three months (3M)
  • Endocrinology specialist examination: Obesity significantly affects the endocrine system, so an endocrinologist examination is crucial in the diagnostics and treatment of endocrinological and metabolic disorders, and includes an assessment of hormonal and diabetic status, along with prescribing and receiving targeted three-month therapy as part of the package, as well as monitoring the therapeutic effect.
  • Nutritionist examination: Nutritional counseling helps maintain a healthy body weight and prevent obesity-related diseases. In addition to taking a medical history and nutritional counseling, the examination also includes initial and final anthropometric measurements: body height (HW), body weight (WW), body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, body composition analysis (basal metabolic rate, fat mass, lean body mass, bones, muscle mass, skeletal muscle mass, muscles, water content, phase angle, visceral fat, and metabolic age).

WITH A SURCHARGE, IT IS POSSIBLE TO ADDITIONALLY MAKE:

  • Individual nutrition plan (7 days): Proper nutrition is an important part of the prevention and treatment of many diseases. It can significantly influence the development of obesity-related diseases, delay the development of chronic complications and improve the quality of life. Therefore, every person who has health problems caused by an irregular and unhealthy diet should adhere to a planned and personalized nutrition plan according to the diagnosis and in accordance with personal preferences.

*When booking an appointment, it is necessary to mention whether you want to arrange additional services
