Associate Professor Emil Dediol, M.D., Ph.D., Maxillofacial Surgeon, Facial Plastic Surgeon, joined the team of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital in 2025.

After graduating from the Medical School of the University of Zagreb in 2003, Associate professor Emil Dediol, M.D., Ph.D., completed his residency in maxillofacial surgery at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital Dubrava. In 2012, he completed a subspecialization in facial plastic surgery. Throughout his career, he has continued his education at prestigious institutions in London, Glasgow, Dresden, Regensburg, Toronto, and New York.

Professor Dediol’s main areas of professional interest include plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of the head and neck, as well as orthognathic (jaw correction) surgery. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in these fields and actively participates in both national and international medical congresses and professional events.
