Irena Šnajdar, M.D.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2001, she has been employed at General Hospital Koprivnica where she finished internship and has started residency program in general surgery.
From 2008, she works at University Hospital Center Zagreb where she became board certified general surgeon in 2009. and since then has been working at the Department of Vascular Surgery.
In 2013 she has become subspecialist in the field of vascular surgery.
During all that time she enrolled in aditional education in all areas of vascular surgery, including training in blood vessel doppler examination, laser vein ablation and sclerotherapy.
She is also author and co-author of several professional and scientific papers in internationally indexed scientific journals and has participated in numerous national and international congresses and conferences.
Also is a member of the Croatian surgical society, Croatian society of Vascular Surgery and the European Society of Vascular Surgery.
Although in every day life she deals with all aspects of vascular surgery, in the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital point of interest is modern treatment of venous pathology.
