Dragan Mihaljević, M.D.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb in 2012, passing the professional exam in 2013 and working in a family medicine outpatient clinic, in 2014 he began his specialization in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care medicine in Zagreb at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care of Surgical Patients at the University Hospital Zagreb. In 2019, he became a specialist in anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care medicine and continued working at the Department for Intensive Care of Surgical and Urological Patients, Clinic for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care of University Hospital Zagreb. He is a permanent member of the team for conducting training in regional anesthesia. In addition, since 2018, he has been continuously working in the Outpatient Clinic and Day Hospital for the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Pain at the University Hospital Zagreb. Since 2025, he has been working at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine at Dubrava Hospital. In doing so, he uses the most modern methods of pain treatment for which he has received training abroad.
He is the first certified in cryoneurolysis in Croatia, the most modern method of minimally invasive pain treatment for which he received training in Poland and Hungary. In addition, he was trained in laser denervation of all joints of the upper and lower extremities, as well as pain syndromes on the trunk, in Graz. He completed training in invasive treatment of pain syndromes of the spine as part of the Racz lab interventional workshop with Prof. Gabor B. Racz.
He is a member of the Croatian Medical Association, the Croatian Society of Anesthesiology, Reanimatology and Intensive Care Medicine, and the Croatian Society for Pain Management. He is a co-author of several scientific and professional papers in the field of anesthesiology, as well as the author of chapters in books. He is a lecturer at several domestic and international congresses and continuing medical education courses. He is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Dentistry in Zagreb.
