Ante Šabić, M.D., University Specialist
He graduated from the University of Split’s Faculty of Medicine in 2015. After completing his internship, he began working at the Emergency Medicine Department in Split in 2016.
In the same year, he started his specialization in abdominal surgery at Dubrava Hospital, where he passed his specialist exam in 2022. In December 2024, he completed a Postgraduate Specialist Program in Abdominal Surgery, earning the title of University Specialist.
He currently works as an abdominal surgeon at the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery at Dubrava Hospital.
He is actively involved in congresses and ongoing education in the field of abdominal surgery.
His clinical practice includes performing laparoscopic cholecystectomies, ventral and inguinal hernia repairs, as well as a variety of proctological procedures, all through same-day surgery.
In April 2025 he joined the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery at the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.
