The potent regenerative effect of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy in gynecologic diseases
Scientists from St. Catherine Specialty Hospital published another scientific paper in the "Journal of personalized medicine".
During the last decade, St. Catherine Specialty Hospital pioneered the integrative concept of personalized and regenerative medicine in clinical practice. In the article "Unlocking the Potential of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Gynecology: Where Are We Now?" which is just published in Journal of Personalized Medicine, we discuss the potent regenerative effect of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy in gynecologic diseases such as infertility, Asherman syndrome, lichen sclerosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, premature ovarian insufficiency, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and rectovaginal fistulas. This review aims to provide a better understanding of the latest therapeutic options involving stem cells and raise awareness of this promising yet not widely known topic in gynecology and medicine in general.
