Mirko Filipović has been appointed the global ambassador of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital

Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović is a sports legend and one of the most famous mixed martial artists in the world.

By decision of the Board of Trustees of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović, a sports legend and one of the most famous mixed martial artists in the world, has been appointed the global ambassador of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.

On that occasion, President of the Board of Trustees of the Hospital, professor Dragan Primorac, M.D., Ph.D., presented him with a statue and a silver badge of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.

During his sports career, Mirko Filipović fought in several disciplines (Pride FC, K1, UFC, Dream FC and MMA), and had 52 professional and 45 amateur matches. His results marked the history of martial arts, and he achieved an incredible feat by simultaneously winning the Grand Prix tournament (PRIDE FC) and the K-1 tournament

With this appointment, Mirko Filipović joined the three global ambassadors of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital: Luka Modrić, Dino Rađa and Gari Kasparov.
