Valentina Uroić, mag. nutr.
MSc, graduated on Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb. Currently is Phd student on Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, Zagreb. Since 2011 she has been employed as a dietetian at Department of Nutrition and Dietetics University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Zagreb. Since 2015, she is Associate at Department of Nutrition and Analytical Techniques, University of Applied Health Sciences.
Co-author of several publications, 4 chapters in textbooks in filed of nephrology and diabetes, and educational brochures about diet therapy and healthy nutrition. She has held more than 30 lectures at Scientific conferences and Courses of continuing education. She is a member of Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds working group for development of National Strategy for Health and Quality of Life by 2030. She completed several expert educations in the area of nutrition and food quality.
Since 2018 she is a secretary of Croatian Society of Nutritionists and Dietitians. She is a member of Croatian Society for Quality, Croatian Society for Atherosclerosis, member of Association for Support for Families Affected by Phenylketonuria and Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (SSIEM). The area of interest includes diet therapy.
