Prim. Ivica Mamić, M.D.
Ivica Mamić graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1999. After successfully finishing the internship and working in primary health care, in 2002 he starts specialization in gynecology and obstetrics. He successfully completed the specialist exam in 2007. Following a brief period as a primary care gynecologist, towards the end of 2008 he became employed at the Clinic for Tumors in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology, where he continues to work to this day.
In 2015, he passed the exam for subspecialization in gynecologic oncology and has been working as a subspecialist in gynecologic oncology since then.
He attained the title of Primarius in 2017.
Primarius Ivica Mamić performs a wide range of gynecological procedures, including ultrasound gynecological examinations and Color Doppler, various minor gynecological procedures and surgeries such as biopsies, polypectomies of the cervix, curettage, and hysteroscopic surgical interventions. Additionally, he handles major, large, and radical gynecological surgeries, such as conizations and LLETZ of the cervix, all types of minimally invasive laparoscopic gynecological surgeries, laparotomy with uterine extirpation and myomectomies. Despite this is not his narrow specialization, he also performs obstetric examinations and surgeries, ultrasound monitoring of pregnancy, actively manages childbirth, and performs cesarean sections.
He is the author and co-author of several scientific papers published in domestic and international scientific journals.
As an advocate of a healthy lifestyle, he finds joy in spending time in nature and engaging in sports activities, especially cycling.
