Petra Bago Rožanković, M.D., Ph.D.
Petra Bago Rožanković, M.D., Ph.D., finished School of Medicine University of Zagreb in 2003. During 2004 she was working as scientific fellow at Department of Internal Medicine University Hospital Sveti Duh. She started residenship in Neurology in 2005 at the Department of Neurology University Hospital Dubrava. She became specialist of Neurology in 2010 and subspecialist in the field of Neurodegenerative disorders in 2020 working at the Department of Neurology University Hospital Dubrava.
Her primary interest are movement disorders, especially Parkinson’s disease, tremor and dystonia. She finished many international courses and educated herself in Queen Square Hospital in London and Department of Neurology in Ljubljana in the field of diagnosis and treatment of different movement disorders, treatment of advanced Parkinson’s disease (infusion therapies and deep brain stimulation) and treatment of focal dystonia with botulinum toxin guided by ultrasound. She continues to apply her acquired knowledge in her everyday clinical practice.
She finished her Ph.D. thesis in 2011, became a scientific associate at School of Medicine University of Zagreb in 2018 and Associate Professor at Croatian Catholic University in February 2021. She actively participated in scientific research and published original articles in the international scientific papers.
