Prof. Neven Tudorić, M.D., Ph.D.
Prof. Neven Tudorić graduated at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1978. He is board certified specialist in Internal medicine since 1986 with subspeciality in Allergology and Pulmonology since 1997 and 2001, respectively. He completed the postdoctoral fellowship in respiratory physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA (1989-1991) and postdoctoral research in the field of asthma at the Free University, Berlin, Germany (1992,1994). He earned doctor's degree in 1993. He became the associate professor of Internal medicine in 2005 and full-time professor in 2016.
The area of his professional and scientific interest are obstructive lung diseases, namely asthma and COPD. He coordinated the creation of national guidelines for rational diagnose and management of asthma and conducted numerous activities for implementation of national and international guidelines for asthma and COPD at the national level. As the vice-president of Croatian Respiratory Society, he actively participates in all professional activities of the Society at the national and international level. He lectures at graduate and post-graduate courses, domestic and international pulmonary conferences. He was invited lecturer at several international congresses and symposia. He is a mentor for M.D. interns and of several MSc and PhD theses, and has co-authored more than 70 scientific publications.
