Eva Pavić, univ. spec. nutr. aliment. for Food Quality and Safety
MSc, Postgraduate specialist of Food Quality and Safety. Head of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics University Hospital Centre Zagreb, Zagreb. She graduated on Faculty of Food Technology, University Josip Juraj Strossmayer, Osijek.
In 2010 became postgraduate specialist for Food Quality. Currently finishing Phd study on Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, Zagreb. In 1995 she became Head of Department of Nutrition in Clinical Hospital Dubrava. In 2010 became University Hospital Centre Zagreb Head manager's Counselor for Food and Nutrition. Since 2011 she is also Head of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics whose function is still ongoing.In 2001 she became Associate for practical classes at a University of Applied Health Sciences, Zagreb and since 2007 is a Main lecturer of subject "Dietetics" at a Department of Nutrition and Analytical Techniques.
She is co-author of several CC publications, chapters in textbooks in field of nephrology and diabetes, and educational brochures about diet therapy and healthy nutrition. She held more than 100 lectures on Scientific conferences and Continuing training courses. Currently she is a member of Ministry of Health's working group for Public Health Gerontology Service. Also she was a member of Ministry of Health's working group for development nutritional guidelines, standards and menus for kindergartens and primary schools and in group for development of HACCP guidelines for institutional kitchens. She was main project manager of Ministry forHealth's program for development Standards for Nutrition for Hospitalized Patients.
Since 2018 she has been President of Croatian Society of Nutritionists and Dietitians. Also she is member of Croatian Society for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases, Croatian Society for Atherosclerosis, Croatian Society for Quality and member of Association for Support for Families Affected by Phenylketonuria. The area of interest includes diet management and diet therapy.
