Assistant Professor Jasmina Ćatić, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Jasmina Ćatić joined St. Catherine's Hospital team in 2018. She graduated at the University of Osijek, School of Medicine in 1999. and completed her residency program in internal medicine at the University Hospital Dubrava, in 2008. She continued with her fellowship in cardiology at the University Hospital Dubrava, Clinic for Internal Medicine and she completed it in 2010. After finishing Ph.D. program in 2015., her Ph.D. thesis entitled „Correlation between RDW values and echocardiographic parameters of systolic and diastolic left ventricular function in patients with STEMI and after PCI“ has been approved. Thesis defense is scheduled for July of 2018.
Dr. Ćatić is having an extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, such as angina pectoris, coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, and several other disorders of the cardiovascular system. In addition, she has a comprehensive knowledge on the different diseases of the heart and blood vessels and the procedures involved in their diagnosis and treatment. She has particular focus on ultrasound diagnostics where she excels and ensures the highest professional standards. Dr. Ćatić partners with clinical and scientific experts in cardiology around the globe.
Dr. Jasmina Ćatić is certified in Croatian Board of Internal Medicine. She is associated with several medical associations including Croatian Medical Chamber and Croatian Cardiac Society and she has authored numerous articles, journal papers and books in the field of cardiology.
