Meet our Associate Professor Emil Dediol, M.D., Ph.D., Maxillofacial Surgeon, Facial Plastic Surgeon, who is an expert in aesthetic and plastic-reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, as well as in solving a whole range of surgical problems in the head and neck area.
He enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1997, and graduated in 2003 as one of the most successful students in his generation. From 2004 to 2009, he was doing residency in maxillofacial surgery at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital Dubrava in Zagreb. In 2012, he finished a subspecialization in facial plastic surgery. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2013 at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, where he has been employed as an Associate Professor in maxillofacial surgery since 2023.
He joined the team of St. Catherine Special Hospital at the beginning of 2025.

Associate Prof. Emil Dediol was awarded a scholarship from the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery for education at University College London Hospital in 2009. He pursued further education at various clinics for plastic surgery of the head and neck in Glasgow, London, Dresden, Regensburg, Toronto, and New York. He is the author of numerous scientific papers in the field of head and neck surgery and has been an active participant in numerous congresses in the same field.
