Personalized plan and recommendations for slowing down biological aging and optimizing health
Based on the analysis of glycans from the GlycanAge test, patients receive personalized guidelines aimed at slowing the biological aging process, promoting lifestyle changes, preventing chronic diseases and optimizing long-term health outcomes.
The recommendations are based on the principles of personalized and preventive medicine and include the following:
- NUTRITIONAL INTERVENTION
Adoption of a dietary plan with proven anti-inflammatory effects is advised, such as the Mediterranean diet, with an emphasis on the intake of unsaturated fatty acids, polyphenols, antioxidants, dietary fiber and fermented foods. The goal is to modulate immune response, regulate the microbiota, and positively influence the glycan profile.
- PERSONALIZED SUPPLEMENTATION
Based on the individual profile, targeted dietary supplements may be recommended to support antioxidant defense, mitochondrial function, immune balance and metabolic regulation.
- PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
An individually tailored exercise regimen is recommended, including aerobic activities and strength training, with the goal of reducing systemic inflammation, improving metabolic control and preserving musculoskeletal health.
- SLEEP QUALITY
Alongside recommendations for improving sleep hygiene, additional diagnostics for sleep disorders that may negatively impact biological age are advised when necessary, with the aim of optimizing sleep quality.
- STRESS MANAGEMENT
The individual plan may include interventions targeting chronic stress regulation such as mindfulness techniques, relaxation exercises, breathing exercises and other psychological approaches, given the known impact of stress on inflammatory, immune and endocrine parameters.
- LABORATORY MONITORING
Targeted laboratory testing is recommended, tailored to the results of the GlycanAge test and individual assessment during consultation with the patient. This may include a complete blood count (CBC), liver and kidney function parameters, as well as analysis of inflammatory (e.g., hsCRP, CRP, IL-6), metabolic (glucose, insulin, HbA1c, lipid profile), and hormonal markers (e.g., cortisol, sex hormones, thyroid hormones). Additional tests are defined individually during consultations, aiming for further objectification of the health status and more precise guidance of the intervention plan.
- IMPACT EVALUATION
GlycanAge testing can be repeated after 3 to 6 months to monitor the impact of interventions on biological age.
