Kinesiological exercise methods (review and assessment)
As part of the comprehensive Longevity program, we conduct a specialized kinesiological examination and assessment based on the Body Technique - an original method developed by Ana Marija Jagodić Rukavina, Ph.D. She is a kinesiologist and innovator, who has spent two decades creating an integrative approach to maintaining and enhancing vitality and the balance of body and mind.
The Body Technique combines principles of holistic preventive kinesiology, neuromuscular reactivation and energetic-functional harmonization of the body. It is grounded in scientifically validated protocols and publications (e.g., Body Technique: Learn to Listen to Your Body, Vitality: The Life Force That Moves Us). This method supports healthy and natural aging, prevents functional deviations, and promotes integration of movement, breathing, emotional and mental stability.
Kinesiological assessment tool - "8 Laws of Health" of the Body Technique
Through a systematic assessment based on the "8 Laws of Health" criteria of the Body Technique, early identification of hidden imbalances is enabled. These imbalances may negatively affect functional health, postural stability and overall resilience of the body.
Based on the findings, an individualized plan of daily guidelines is created, serving as daily therapeutic doses focused on movement functionality, posture, breathing, neuromuscular reactivation and functional integration.
What does the physical health assessment include?
The physical health assessment includes:
- Functional analysis of movement, posture, stability, and body mobility
- Postural diagnostics with emphasis on activating deep stabilizing muscles (core system)
- Respiratory assessment with analysis of breathing as a foundational pattern linked to lymphatic drainage, the nervous system and emotional regulation
- Detection of motor limitations and muscular imbalances based on evidence-based protocols
- Measurement of vital functional indicators (physiological reactivity, breathing under load, muscle tone)
- Assessment of the body’s response to emotional stress with analysis of its effect on posture, breathing and physical resilience
Special focus: pelvic floor and menopause
For women in menopause, special emphasis is placed on functional pelvic floor assessment, which includes analysis of the musculo-connective system, pelvic organs, pelvic stability and patterns of breathing and posture.
This assessment integrates both kinesiological and medical principles to enable early detection of weakened pelvic function and the creation of personalized protocols and therapy plans aimed at its stabilization, detoxification and functional revitalization – ultimately improving long-term quality of life.
Scientific approach to prevention, functional diagnostics and health optimization through movement
As part of the Longevity program, we nurture a scientific approach to prevention, functional diagnostics, and health optimization through movement, with the goal of active, functional, and healthy aging.
Kinesiological assessment and exercise methods within the Longevity program contribute to:
- maintaining movement functionality
- enhancing vital capacities
- reducing inflammatory processes
- improving physical and emotional adaptation to stress
- regulating breathing and the nervous system through conscious bodily awareness
- overall improvement of quality of life through optimization of movement, breathing, posture and psycho-emotional balance
Optimize your health with our Longevity program!
