Alzheimer's Disease

As the most common type of dementia, Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder where gradual decline of certain neurons happens, which leads to the disorder of basic brain functions in the end.

It has three phases (early, middle, late) during which the symptoms worsen from mild memory impairments to complete dependence on other people.
