Dermatoscopic examination of moles - whole body

Dermatoscopic examination of moles is an extremely important examination in the prevention of malignant changes on the skin and melanoma, which is one of the most aggressive malignant processes on the body.

The examination is performed with a state-of-the-art dermatoscope and suspicious changes are photographed under magnification. The patient is explained why this mole or lesion is problematic and why it needs to be surgically removed.

A dermatoscopic examination of all moles on the body is recommended once a year and this is also a guideline of the European Academy of Dermatovenerology (EADV).
