Scar correction

Scar correction is done by reexcision of the existing scar and, as with excision, the wound is sutured and bandaged, or if it is a keloid formed at the site of an incision or some injury to the skin, it is treated with a preparation that gradually reduces it to the level of the skin (Kenalog).
