Mesotherapy
What is mesotherapy and what is it for?
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive treatment for skin rejuvenation and regeneration, in which vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and other revitalizing substances are injected directly into the middle layer of the skin - the mesoderm - in which there are tiny blood vessels. The mentioned active substances are necessary for intensive hydration and nourishment of the skin and deep revitalization, which significantly slows down the aging process - accelerates metabolism, strengthens existing and creates new collagen and elastin, which restores elasticity, tone and shine to the skin.
In the beginning, mesotherapy was used for the purpose of reducing chronic pain and treating other conditions, and today it is an indispensable aesthetic treatment performed all over the world. Mesotherapy treatment is completely natural, and it is most often used to rejuvenate the face, neck and décolletage, but also hands and body. The scalp is a special region, when this treatment is performed for the purpose of hair recovery in alopecia - hair loss and hair loss. In particular, mesotherapy is used for the purpose of reducing wrinkles, tightening the skin, lightening hyperpigmentation spots and solving other aesthetic problems.
What does mesotherapy treatment look like?
Before the treatment, the area to be treated is smeared with a local anesthetic. After that, it is thoroughly disinfected and, using microinjections, the so-called mesococktails - active substances rich in different ingredients suitable for certain skin conditions - such as hyaluronic acid, folic, oleic and lactic acid, vitamins A, C and E, ceramides, plant extracts, collagen, cocktails that lift facial skin, according to skin type. The dermatologist determines which mesococktail is most suitable for the patient based on the wishes and age of the patient and the analysis of the condition and needs of the skin. For example, more mature skin requires a greater amount of hyaluronic acid than the skin of people in their twenties. On the other hand, dry skin needs a completely different ratio of ingredients compared to oily skin. The goal is to evenly distribute the active ingredients under the skin with surface punctures during application.
Mesotherapy is carried out in several treatments according to a specific therapy plan, and for optimal effect, 3-6 treatments are usually performed. Depending on the ingredients of the cocktail used, the treatments are carried out 1 to 2 weeks apart or at the latest a month apart. You can come later to maintain the achieved results. Maintenance can be done once every two months or with a repeat series of treatments after 6 to 8 months. By repeating the treatment, the amount of collagen increases and the depth of wrinkles decreases, thereby improving skin tone. The results are already visible after the first treatment, but for the best results, several treatments are required, depending on the treated region, the patient's age and the patient's lifestyle.
One treatment lasts only 30 minutes. Of course, the duration of the treatment may vary depending on the size of the region being treated. Mesotherapy can be used alone or in combination with other aesthetic treatments. One such combination is exfoliation of the treated skin of the face, neck, décolletage and hands, followed by a mesotherapy treatment, after which the skin acquires a special glow and a healthy appearance. This treatment is very pleasant and popular among patients.
In conclusion, it is a completely safe, minimally invasive procedure with no side effects, which is individualized and specially adapted to the type and condition of the skin. At the same time, facial expressions and facial expressions remain preserved, and the result is taut and fresher skin - resistant to harmful external influences and with a youthful appearance.
