The first examination by a hematologist
The first examination by a hematologist is performed to diagnose hematological diseases. It includes a medical history (taking information about family illnesses, the patient's illness, previous treatment and test results, current disorders and reasons for visiting a hematologist, medications and habits) and a physical examination. According to the working diagnosis, additional tests are planned, most of which can be done in our institution, and the rest in cooperating institutions.
