Open type elbow procedures
We perform the following open type elbow procedures:
- Disinsertion of the tendons of the hand extensors (tennis elbow) – is a procedure where through a small cut in the skin the tendons of the hand flexor are relaxed, and degenerative tissue of the tendon is removed. Diagnosis is Epicondylitis lateralis.
- Decompression and transposition of the ulnar nerve (ulnar nerve syndrome) – is a surgery where after EMNG and MR verified nerve compression in the cubital tunnel (elbow), the nerve is released of all the adhesions and is relocated under the muscle or skin on the front side of the elbow.
