MRI fistulography

MR fistulography is a procedure used in proctologic assessment of acute or chronic aches in the perineal region, area around the anus, as well as acute and chronic inflammatory processes associated with pus leaking around the anus, for detection of perianal fistulas, precise detection of the position and relationship of the fistula with the surrounding structures. The procedure enables precise planning of the surgery.
