Color Doppler of the Arteries of the Arm

Ultrasound diagnostics or ultrasonography (US) is a radiological imaging method which uses ultrasonic high-frequency waves to see the inside structures of the body.

By doing the US and CD procedures, we do not use ionizing radiation.

By using doppler US we measure and analyze the blood flow in the blood vessels.

We assess the blood flow through the arteries and veins of the arms. With arteries, it is used to analyze atherosclerotic changes, plaques, narrowing or widening of the arteries.

Radiologist – a specialist in radiology educated for doing CD and for interpreting it, will interpret the scan and will write a radiological report. If necessary, the radiologist will discuss the report with the physician that indicated the procedure.
