We are introducing Stjepan Čota, M.D., Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Stjepan Čota, M.D. joined the team of the Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital in 2022.
He was born in Đakovo where he finished his high school education. After graduating from the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in 2015, he did his medical internship at UHC Sisters of Charity. He worked for a short time as a general practitioner (GP) in Đakovo. Stjepan Čota, M.D. began his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Children’s Hospital Zagreb in early 2017. During his residency, he attended training courses in musculoskeletal ultrasound and pediatric musculoskeletal pathology.
He is the (co)author of several research papers in the fields of physical medicine and rehabilitation and rheumatology. He is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber and the Croatian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine.
Fields of interest: orthopedic rehabilitation in children, overuse syndromes, scoliosis, and rehabilitation of children with rheumatic diseases.
