We are introducing Maja Majdak, M.D., Neurology Specialist, Neuroimmunology Subspecialist

Maja Majdak, M.D., Neurology Specialist, Neuroimmunology Subspecialist, joined the team of St. Catherine Specialty Hospital.

Dr. Maja Majdak graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2008. After completing her internship and passing the state licensing exam, she began her specialization in neurology at the Department of Neurology, Dubrava University Hospital. She passed the neurology board exam in 2016 and has since been working as neurology specialist. In September 2023, she passed her subspecialist exam in neuroimmunology and simultaneously completed advanced training in Evoked Potentials at the University Hospital Centre Zagreb.

Dr. Majdak’s primary area of expertise includes headaches and neuroimmunological diseases of the nervous system. She actively participates in numerous professional courses and educational programs focused on the diagnosis and treatment of headaches and neuroimmunological disorders.

She is a regular speaker at both national and international conferences on headaches and is a member of the Headache Section of the Croatian Neurological Society. On several occasions, she has served as a reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals and has published multiple scientific and professional articles. She is also the author of the chapter on headaches in a textbook published by the University of Zagreb.
