In the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital was made the first application of a patient's own microfragmented adipose tissue containing mesenchymal stem cells in abdominal surgery.

We are among the first in Europe to apply this procedure for the treatment of orthopedic patients and these days we have also introduced it to the patients with Crohn's disease, especially to those with openings in the intestinal wall (fistula).
