St. Catherine signed a strategic Agreement with the Israeli biotechnology corporation Bonus BioGroup

Agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership

The Strategic Partnership Agreement is focused on the joint development of new technologies in the field of personalized medicine.

In the presence of the Croatian Ambassador in Israel, Mrs. Vesela Mrđen Korać, prof. Dragan Primorac, the President of the Board of Trustees of St. Catherine Hospital and Yossi Rauch, Executive Chairman at Bonus BioGroup Ltd., signed an agreement on strategic cooperation and partnership.

"St. Catherine Hospital, one of the world's leading hospitals in the application of personalized medicine in clinical practice, and Bonus Biogroup, which is a leading Israeli biotechnology company specializing in developing and manufacturing cell therapy and tissue engineering products based on mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC), will work within this collaboration to develop cellular therapies for degenerative, infectious, and inflammatory diseases, as well as to create new technologies in the field of tissue engineering." Dr. Shai Meretzki, CEO of Bonus Biogroup, added, “We are also working to establish a bi-national framework for training and educating physicians and scientists from Israel and Croatia."

Prof. Dragan Primorac stated, "The signing of the agreement is an important milestone in advancing technology and medicine in Israel and Croatia and is an excellent example of how friendship and scientific excellence coming together can bring groundbreaking innovations to the world of medicine. Mrs. Vesela Mrđen, Croatian ambassador to Israel, also addressed the signing ceremony and welcomed the cooperation of Bonus Biogroup and St. Catherine, whose achievements push the boundaries of medicine as we know it today.

The press conference was attended by scientists, guests, and collaborators Dr. Shai Meretzki, Ph. D., CEO of Bonus Biogroup, Dr. Tomer Bronshtein, Ph. D., VP of Business Development of Bonus Biogroup, Moti Giladi, President of Advisory Board of the Croatian Israeli Business Club, who initiated this collaboration and many others.
