St Catherine hospital has become the official hospital of Croatian Olympic Committee
The president of the Croatian Olympic Committee dr. Zlatko Mateša announced today that the St. Catherine Hospital has become the first official hospital of the Croatian Olympic Committee in its history. Some of the most famous sportsman including Janica Kostelić (four-time Olympic gold medalist in alpine ski), Dubravko Šimenc (Olympic gold and silver medalist in water polo), Franjo Arapović (Olympic silver medalist in basketball), Damir Škaro (Olympic bronze medalist in boxing), Zoran Primorac (Olympic silver medalist in table tennis), Željko Mavrović (former European boxing champion) and many others, attended the ceremony of signing the contract between Croatian Olympic Committee and St. Catherine Hospital.
Mrs. Kostelić emphasized exemplary service provided by the hospital staff that directly helped her in achieving sport results while Mr. Dubravko Šimenc highlighted outstanding cordiality and a unique approach by St. Catherine’s physicians during diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Furthermore, the President of the Board of Trustees of the St. Catherine hospital and former minister of science, education and sports of the Republic of Croatia Professor Dragan Primorac emphasized that the hospital is already official hospital of the Croatian Football Federation and many other sports clubs in and outside of Croatia and that the hospital staff will do all possible in order to provide the best diagnostics, treatments and physical medicine and rehabilitation for all who are in need of medical help.
