Šarolta Pinter, M.D. joined the team of the Center for Ophthalmology of St. Catherine at the beginning of 2024

Šarolta Pinter was born in Zagreb. She graduated from the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in 2000.

She completed her internship at the Clinical Hospital Dubrava and in January 2002, after passing the state exam, she received a licence to work independently. After 3 years of work at the Diabetes Department of the University Clinic Vuk Vrhovac, she received a specialization in Ophthalmology, which she completed at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. In 2009, she became a specialist in ophthalmology. She also completed her Doctoral postgraduate studies in the field of Biomedicine and Healthcare at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine.

In 2019, she becomes a specialist in ophthalmology with a narrower specialty in the posterior segment of the eye - Medical Retina. In addition to diseases of the posteror part of the eye, she intensively deal with glaucoma, children's ophthalmology, contact lenses and eyelid surgery.

She is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber, as well as the Croatian Ophthalmological and Optometric Society

For the sake of permanent medical training, she actively and passively participates in international and domestic congresses and postgraduate courses of the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine.
