Maida Seferović, M.D., Ph.D. joined the team of Center for Neurology of St. Catherine

Our Center for Neurology has gained a valuable new team member. Maida Seferović, M.D., Ph. D., graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. She obtained her academic degree of Doctor of Science (Ph. D.) in 2018 from the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb, with her doctoral dissertation on "The role of thyroid hormones in carotid wall remodeling and lipid metabolism”

Her specific areas of interest are the prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, migraines, and other neurological disorders.

She is the author and co-author of several scientific articles published in indexed journals and has presented at various conferences. She actively participates in national and international professional and scientific meetings.
