The World Basketball legend Dino Rađa has been appointed as the global ambassador of the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital

The World Basketball legend Dino Rađa has been appointed as the global ambassador of the St. Catherine Specialty Hospital. On that occasion, St. Catherine’s President of Board of Trustees, Professor Primorac presented him with a statue and a silver hospital's pin.

Dino Rađa is a former professional basketball player and celebrated Croatian athelete. He won two Olympic medals (Seoul 1988., Barcelona 1992.). With the Croatian National Team, he won bronze medals at the European Championships in 1993 and 1995 and the 1994 World Championships. In 1993, as one of the European pioneers in the NBA, he joined Boston Celtics, where he spent three and a half seasons. The Eurohoops portal (2015) included Dino among the 15 best European basketball players ever. In 2018, he was inducted into The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, US. Since 2021, Dino has represented St. Catherine Specialty Hospital as its Global Ambassador.
