Spiritual Activities
  • Daily school-wide prayers
  • Prayer Service
    • Each month at SCL, a different grade leads the entire school in a morning prayer service. Readings and songs that coincide with the religious theme or Holy day of the month are prepared and shared. Families are always welcome to come and join in this inspirational
      spiritual activity.

  • School-wide Masses each month
  • Living Rosary
  • Stations of the Cross
  • Support of Church missions
  • Sacramental preparation
  • First Reconciliation
  • First Eucharist
  • Confirmation
  • Prayer Partners
    • At SCL, our 6th through 8th graders have the opportunity to serve as spiritual role models to students in grades kindergarten through second. Eighth graders are teamed up with students in first grade, seventh grade with kindergarten, and sixth with second grade. In this successful program, our older students team up with their partners and model appropriate behavior during religious activities and beyond. The quality and vision of this program has extended into the social aspect of school activities as well. For instance, our prayer partners warmly welcome new students, join kindergarten and first grade for their Easter egg hunts, participate in Halloween parties and parades and our yearly walk for the Homeless.

  • Altar Servers
  • Visits by Associate Pastor
Family Mass

The family Mass at SCL is a wonderful and special opportunity to celebrate the gift of Mass with your children. On the third Sunday of every month at the 9 a.m. Mass, children are invited to the alter for an interactive and educational homily created especially for them. Following Mass is a coffee and donut reception held in the gym. Please come and join us! The Family Mass schedule is as follows for 2007-2008: Oct. 21st, Nov. 18th, Dec. 16th, December 24th (Christmas Eve Pantomime at 5 p.m.!), Jan. 20th, Feb. 17th, March 16th, March 23rd (with an egg hunt to follow Mass!), April 20th, May 18th.
