FIFTH GRADE SUPPLY LIST – 2010 - 2011

 

Students must purchase, and always have available, from the first day of school:

 

2 boxes #2 Pencils

24 Black ball point, medium tip pens - NO permanent markers, gel pens, or “inky” pens that                                                                  will smear

5 Red Pens

1 Eraser

1 Ruler (12 inch) (standard and metric measurements)

1 Pair Scissors

1 Box colored pencils (24)

1 box Markers (not permanent markers)

1 Zippered Pencil Case (to hold everyday supplies)

1 Boxe for supplies (to store glue, scissors, etc.)

5 Marble bound Composition Notebooks

1 Expandable file

1 Glue Stick

1 ream (250 pages) wide ruled looseleaf for their own use - to be collected at the beginning of the year. 

1 folder with “brad” style closures for 3 hole paper

2 packs 3x5 lined index cards

1 protractor

2 DRY erase markers – please be sure they are not WET erase

1 old cotton sock to store dry erase markers and use as an eraser on dry erase board

1 Spanish/English Dictionary

1 memory stick for the computer

 

Additional supplies:

 

4 boxes of tissues - one box must be labeled “ART”

3 rolls of paper towels –one clearly labeled “ART”

2 boxes of baby wipes

1 container of Clorox Wipes

 

Computer Supplies:

1 set of headphones in a large ziplock bag, with name on it. (Not stereo headphones)

 

To be paid at school:

1 Homework Assignment notebook - $5.00

2 Math grid notebooks - $2.50 each

Emergency Supplies Preparedness - $2.00

 

1 Blue SCL tote bag -  $15  - This is required for 5th and 6th graders, it is durable and reusable each year.
