Hospitality and SocialCommitte Heads: Nichelle Lendhardt, Belinda Rawls, and Evelyn Cannon
This committee will incorporate the
functions of both the original social and hospitality committees and provide
planning, manpower, and materials for the various social and hospitality
functions throughout the year. These will include popular legacy programs (e.g.
Franks with Frankenstein, Breakfast with Santa, etc.), plus potential others as
recommended by the committee.
Due to the nature of these programs, there will be considerable coordination
with the school administration for all student and parent activities for
pre-planning tasks and responsibilities. Programs shall also include social
events directed to teacher and staff appreciation (dinners, etc.).

FundraisingCommitte Head:Vacant
The objective of this committee will be to
research, evaluate, and implement fund-raising programs on behalf of school
projects and objectives.
The committee head will appoint as applicable various lead positions to run
and manage the various fund-raisers, provide plans for program tasks and
activities before implementation, and a source for tracking and reporting on
donated funds per family for each program.
Fundraisers will be targeted to specific school goals and metrics complied to
determine success in meeting those targets.

Special ProjectsCommitte Head:Vacant
The objective of this committee will be to
research the feasibility, costs, planning tasks, and timelines for tactical
projects agreed to by the school administration, school board, and HSA which may
include but not limited to facility improvements, equipment, etc.
The committee would provide all relevant data including adherence to existing
standards, school/county/state administrative guidelines, and conformance to
existing or planned architectural guidelines where applicable.
The nature of this committee will necessitate appointed leaders for various
projects. There will be coordination as necessary with the school
administration, other planning committees, suppliers, and government
administrators as necessary. Examples of such projects include new windows for
the school classrooms.

ScienceCommitte Head:Vacant
The objective of this committee will be to
arrange a time for the fair, coordinate tasks for delivery of projects to the
staging area, appoint judges and conduct the actual judging of projects, and
provide a forum for project walkthroughs for parents, students, teachers,
administrators, and staff.
The committee will coordinate with the school administration, teacher reps,
and student presenters. The role of the Academic committee under the school
board in supporting this project and actual involvement by that committee must
be determined by start of the school year.

BudgetCommitte Head: Jackie Okeefe Philips
This committee will have the objective of
developing and submitting a budget to the Executive committee for approval by
early fall. Once approved, the budget will be published and distributed to the
general membership at large. Once baselined, it will be the responsibility of
the Treasurer to maintain and track revenues and expenditures against the budget
for monthly reporting
